Municipal Services

In the Hamlet of Grise Fiord water delivery is by a dedicated truck for this purpose, and these deliveries are done daily, Monday to Friday. On weekends or after hours water delivery is available by call-out.

Sewage collection is also done with dedicated trucks, and again, this service is provided daily except on weekends when a call-out will be required. Wastewater is taken to our sewage lagoon for processing.

All buildings are equipped with water and sewage tanks, and these vary in size depending on the needs of the occupants.

Garage collection is done at least 3 times per week, with the garbage being taken to our landfill.

Our municipal department also looks after road maintenance.
